Straight from the garden

We picked a jalepeno from the garden and Madeline got to cut it up to put in our dinner tonight! We have canteloupe and carrots that are going to be ready soon too!

Belated Birthdays

Last week Matthew had a huge package waiting for him on the front porch! He was so excited to open it!

It was his b'day gift from MaMaw and he loved the packing peanuts a lot!

Sissy got a makeup box from Aunt Nancy and had a great time decorating it with stickers!

Tuesday I donated blood at work and Jeff surprised me with cupcakes from Dreamcakes Bakery in Homewood. Soooooo good!

We have a pretty wooded trail close to our subdivision where we like to walk in the evenings.

Had to stop to watch a train go by.

Madeline was not happy towards the end and was ready for family time to be OVER.

She found a nut shell that looked like a pig nose.

This very old cement marker is in the woods just off the trail. No markings on it, but we can't figure out what it is. My guess is a property line marker of some sort.

Buzz Lightyear Cosmic Bowling Party

Matthew got to take home a real bowling pin for his room!

We mixed Buzz Lightyear decor with what they supplied at the bowling alley.
