Wedding Program

I know a lot of you are waiting to see pictures from the wedding. I have so many it is going to take a while to get them all posted. I'll have to do it in stages. Below are shots of the program. I brought a program to Dee so she could read all about it and she loved it!

The Froggy Potty

No, he's not 'really' using the froggy potty, he's just posing. We introduced it last night and he loves to sit on it. He's not using it for it's purpose yet, but he is enjoying using it for a regular seat! ha ha
My friend recommended this potty for little boys because she found that it had the highest front/shield. =)

Our Disney Chain

I found a template online for a Disney countdown chain. Madeline tears off a link each day until we reach the end and then it will be time to leave for Disney!!

Ronald McDonald House

On Monday a group of us from MailSouth went to the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham to prepare a meal for the families staying there.

Too cute not to share.

Shower #2

Madeline and I drove up to Madison to surprise Aunt Nancy at her shower at the church. She was very surprised!

Nan, MaMaw, Me & Madeline (in her pearls again).

Nan with Mother's sweet friend, Gwen. It was so good to see her again!

opening her gifts.

Madeline made fast friends with another little girl there. They played in the Sunday School rooms.

Happy Labor Day!

We had a busy Labor Day! We got extra chain at Home Depot so Jeff could lengthen the kids swings that MaMaw gave them for Christmas.

They were soooo excited to be able to swing outside now that it wasn't so hot.

Matthew LOVED his swing!

Sissy was having a great time, and tried to teach Matthew how to pump his legs to make his swing go.

Sweet Baby.

Now that's 'chilled out'. Swinging and Relaxing.

Then they moved on to some dirt digging.

Riding in the big 'Nemo' as Matthew calls it. All fish are Nemo to him.

Jeff hung my antique Coke bottle opener out on the back porch. I got this from Dee years ago but never hung it. I love love the old picture on the front of the soda jerk and the Coke bottle.

Jeff got the blow up pool cleaned up and filled.

Then on to the other play area

And yes, all of that was done before lunch! I put 2 sausage potato casseroles in to cook for lunch and after that it's time for grill out dinner! Happy Labor Day!

Sunday Fun

On Sunday Madeline and I went out to lunch with our good friend Joyce. Afterwards we went back to her house to visit. Madeline loves her kitties (one of them only has 3 legs and it fascinates Madeline) and fed one of them her ice cream cone.

Double Dipper

Today we all got out and went to the Galleria for some shopping and to eat at Country Basket. Matthew was dipping his chicken in his mashed potatoes, too cute not to get a picture of!

Early Wedding Prep

Madeline got her hair cut today in preparation for Aunt Nancy's upcoming wedding. She had it thinned, flat ironed, layered and sprayed with sparkle princess spray. =)

Too big!!! She looks like a 'tween'!

Pretty

My hibiscus is still blooming after 4 months!

KISS singing Modern Day Delilah at the concert

KISS concert!

On Tuesday night Nancy and I had a sister night and drove to Atlanta to see KISS in concert! It was amazing!!!

This is us hanging out on the lawn of the amphitheater and being silly. We had TONS of great people watching to do! TONS! The freaks came out that night!! ha ha

This is 'Yellow Shirt'. This guy was dancing and dancing and dancing all through the opening acts and on. He was getting down! All the other people behind him were sneaking up and getting pictures made with him, holding up signs pointing to him and laughing and laughing!
We laughed until we cried!

See what I mean by 'people watching'?? I saw more thigh-high, black leather, high heel boots with fish nets than you would believe- and they were not being worn by women!

Here is KISS at the start of the show coming down on a riser that took them over the drum set. The pyro and lights were fantastic!!!

Gene Simmons as 'The Demon' doing his blood vomit (really red yogurt).

Paul Stanley as The Starchild flew out over the crowd to a mini stage that revolved.

Think

Conversation with Madeline:

"Madeline, why was this work not finished at school?"
"I ran out of time."
"You need to try to work a little faster so this much doesn't have to come home to finish."
"I go slow because I'm hard thinker."
