Field Day Champ
Had to post this- Madeline won two ribbons at Field Day. She was the #1 Standing Long Jump in the whole class. She was so proud!
Special things about my babies:
1. The slap slap sound of Matthew's hands on the floor as he crawls down the hall or into a room is one of my new favorite sounds!
2. Madeline loves to 'opera sing' while in the tub. (Much to our chagrin if Matthew is asleep in the next room).
3. It's so cute to watch Madeline as she masters the DirectTV remote to get to her own programs. However, if I have to watch Chowder or Kim Possible one more time..... ha ha
4. For some bizarre reason Matthew is FASCINATED with the living room curtains! He crawls just as fast as he can to get to them and looks back to make sure we see where he's heading. We've had to start tying them up.
5. Matthew thinks it is high fun to play "Where's Grover??". I think he is advanced in that he can find the Grover toy when asked the question. Jeff says he just thinks all of the toys are 'Gover'. =)
6. If left to her own devices, Madeline Elizabeth would change clothes about 6 times a day and usually in opposite season to the current weather- AND expects to wear said outfit out in public. Of course this is also paired with the 'play' make-up, jewelry, headbands, scarves, etc that she keeps at her disposal.
7. Both of my babies have the best laughs I've ever heard! Mixtures of deep chuckles and belly laughs.

My first blog! This feels like a super easy scrapbook page! =)
Today was uneventful but I was eager to get my blog up and running. Maybe I should have waited until there was actually news to post. =)
