This would be our storage unit......... the 18 wheeler truck size. As you can see it's to the top and to the door with CRAPOLA. You can't even see all the way to the back. Jeff is in hog heaven right now with the house being so sparse. He says he only needs a plate, fork, bed, chair and computer! ha ha

Puppy Love

Today while driving home we were listening to Donny Osmond's 'Puppy Love' song from my Teen Idols cd. Madeline absolutely LOVES this song and knows most of the words, we play it over and over. Today she said "I'm singing so beautiful with Donny that you can't even tell it's me. I'm really staying in the lines on this song." =)
She also likes Rick Springfield's song 'Jessie's Girl' on that same cd. I never paid much attention to the lyrics since it's an old 80's song until the day I overheard her in her room at full volume "I feel so dirty when they start talking cute- I WANT JESSIE'S GIRL!". Oops. Mommy has to be more careful with the music selection, just because it's a 20yr old song doesn't mean it's appropriate I guess.

The Halloween Birthday- In June

Madeline wanted a Halloween costume party for her 6th birthday.
Here we are in costume. I went as a 50's girl, Madeline went as the Wicked Witch, Jeff went as a nerd and Matthew wore his Mickey Mouse attire.

After we got home she couldn't wait to get into her presents and try them out. This was Tinkerbell's house that we gave her. She got some of the Tiny Tink friends that go with it from friends at the party.

Singing In The Rain

Madeline loves to splash in puddles after it's been raining. Today she put on her Crocs and raincoat so she could go splash while it was still raining.

The Penguin Book

Matthew absolutely loves this penguin book. It has a rubber finger puppet penguin that sticks out of it and he is fascinated. He drags it all over, room to room or goes to find it. Today he brought it out into the living room from his room.

Thank you Big Sister

Matthew has decided that as long as it's one of Big Sister's left over sippies with real milk he'll drink it. If I give him the same sippy that Madeline has not had and it has juice or water in it he won't touch it!

Sweet Sweet Girl

Last night I was frantically dusting/cleaning since the realtor is coming Friday morning. Madeline kept asking to help and I kept saying no (always thinking I can do it faster and better myself). She finally said she wanted to be helpful and do it for me so I didn't have to work and could rest. So Sweet!

I can't believe Matthew is almost walking. Just yesterday we were getting up every 2hrs to feed and change this tiny little baby. He's such a sweet little man!

Cheese Please!

We all went to the local pizza buffet last night of dinner and discovered that Matthew LOVES the cheese. He ate about an entire pizza slice worth of cheese/sauce we scraped off for him. He's going to be a machine when he's old enough to eat his own slices off the buffet!

Matthew likes to 'chill' when we go shopping. He relaxes and stretches out so he can take everything in. =) Definite B personality.

Calm Your Breezes

Today as I was putting in a load of wash I closed the laundry room door over my toes... Had to sit down and almost started crying it hurt so bad! To control the urge to use explicatives I began doing the 'lamaze breathing'. Madeline runs in and sees I've hurt my toes (as I'm cradling my foot and breathing like a maniac) and starts to pat my back saying 'calm your breezes Mommy, just calm your breezes. It'll be o.k). So funny I had to laugh which helped my toe. =)

buttered noodles. Jeff buys pasta at Sam's by the truckload. As you can see Madeline loves to eat this as well. Matthew just discovered it today, he loves it! I have to have some spaghetti sauce on mine. =)

Cinderelly on the red

On the red Friday at school- meaning Mommy picks out the outfit Monday morning. This particular incident was some sort of altercation with another girl over by the bookshelves regarding who was going to get to be 'book organizer'. Needless to say, books were thrown by Yours Truly. This is Madeline sweeping the floors as part of her chore punishment.

Public Broadcast System

Madeline and her broadcast signs. After one momentous meltdown in Target this weekend over lip gloss- and my refusal to buy her any- Madeline made up signs to put in her car window. She says this is 'so that people everywhere we pass can see how she's feeling'. There is a happy one, a sad one and a mad one. Sigh.

Hoping for a good day at school today. Melt down this morning about the outfit, in particular the shorts, as we are trying to get out the door for school. I told her I will be picking out her clothes every day that she is not on the 'green'.
