Finally- Haircut Success!

Matthew fianally got a haircut that is normal! It only took 4 Dum Dum suckers this time- and a complete melt down over the cape but we came out ok!

Hey Aunt Nancy!

The Mall had an astronaut suit for people to put their heads in for photos.... Madeline loved it. Aunt Nancy was forced into it. =)

We had fun playing with Aunt Nancy on Saturday!

Playing in the fountain

Here's Matthew playing in the fountain. He ran in a big circle along the same path over and over and over. He had a great time! (I have no idea how to rotate the video and it was filmed vertically..... just turn your head sideways to watch!)

Fountains of Bridge Street

We went up to Madison today to see Aunt Nancy. We ate lunch, I got fitted for my bridesmaid dress and we took the kids over to Bridge Street Mall to play in the fountains.

Madeline jumped right in...

Matthew was not too sure.

Testing the waters.

Then he warmed up and decided it was pretty fun!

This was the 14th attempt of a picture of them together. I gave up.

He's saying 'cheese' to my as he runs by.

Mother's Day 2010

We went to see Dee for Mother's Day this weekend. Madeline was very excited to be taking her some flowers.

This was a hard picture to get, Matthew was not interested in anything but his french fries.

I thought it was funny that her shirt matched her flowers so exactly!

Madeline came back to the room at intervals. She spends her time between the upper lobby, the hallway and Dee's room while making her rounds. Ms. Mirium and Ms. Jane look forward to seeing Madeline.

Yea Daddy!

Last night we made a cookie cake for Jeff since he graduated! We are proud of him!

Madeline worked hard on the icing!

Field Day

Madeline did a wonderful job in Field Day Friday. They find out Monday during PE what ribbons they won. She participated in 3 events, the standing long jump (she won 1st place last year), the frisbee throw and the sack race.

Waiting in the dug out for their events to be called.

In line for the standing long jump, her best event!

Diya and Madeline.

Here she goes!

She jumped really far!

The frisbee throw. She requested the yellow frisbee. She did really well, we'll see Monday what she placed.

Lining up for the sack race.

And they're off!

Down she goes.

She fell a lot! In this shot she fell down right when the picture was taken and fell out of the shot! ha ha

She came in last in the sack race even though she practiced at home using a pillowcase up and down the hall. =) She had a great time though and she didn't quit!

The gravel pile was just as much fun to the kids to play in as the games.

Surprise!

Thursday I got these beautiful roses delivered to me at work from Jeff! Aren't they gorgeous!!

Caught Red Handed

Jeff moved the fruit bowl to clean behind it and look what he found! Madeline had been standing up on the other side of the wall (there is a window cut out right above this that looks into the living room from the kitchen. She stands up on the couch and reaches through to the candy bowl on the kitchen counter.) sneaking chocolate kisses and stashing the wrappers behind the fruit bowl!

Silly Goose

Madeline thought it was HILARIOUS that she was able to get her hair all up on top of her head with the shampoo. She thought she had a boy hair cut!

This weekend Jeff and I took Madeline to Atlanta to see the Mary Poppins Broadway show. It was amazing!

During the show Madeline asked if that was the real Mary Poppins. I told her yes (she's just as real as the one at Disney World!) and she said "Wow, she came a long long way to get here from Disney World!" ha ha

The show was at the Fox Theater, it was very fancy!

The inside of the theater had a blue ceiing with stars, it made it appear like you were sitting in an outdoor Arabian arena!

This is Madeline outside beside the touring truck. We just happened to come upon the actors as they were exiting the stage door. We got to see Bert, Mary, Mrs. Banks and Jane come out!

After the show we walked down to eat at the Varsity and meet up with one of my best friends from high school.

Me and Kristin.

Madeline, Jimmy, Logan and Hunter outside The Varsity.

One tired little girl on the way home from Atlanta. She was watching Sleeping Beauty on the DVD player and fell out!
