This is the new Bippiti Boppiti Boutique in Cinderella Castle. Madeline is going to have an appt to have a princess makeover here on one of our days. When we were there last year this had not opened yet. She is very excited!
This is the resort we chosed this time. It is the Port Orleans French Quarter, the whole resort is made to look like the French Quarter in New Orleans.
We are MOST excited about this pool at the resort! How cool is that water slide!
Matthew had great fun slinging the vaccum hose around the kitchen floor. He liked teh noise it made and did it over and over and over laughing hysterically. 
Matthew loved playing with Madeline's headband. He knew it was supposed to go on his head, he just couldn't quite get it on right.
He is also good at mopping up his spills. He must get this from his father because I am not a good housekeeper!
What started out as spilled Cheerios in the hallway turned into an impromptu picnic. Rather than picking them up they were eaten straight off the floor! Yech.
here's my neck 2 1/2 weeks after surgery. I hope it eventually gets to where it just looks like a scratch. 
Madeline is dead set on earning money to take to Disney World this Fall. She does every chore she can think of and hoards all change that she finds. She was wiggling her teeth yesterday doing inventory on which ones she thinks will be loose by October so she can count on that money from the Tooth Fairy to add to her stash! ha ha 
Today we got the Easter eggs out for some Easter egg hunts in the backyard. We played outside for most of the day after we got back from visiting Dee.
Once we showed Matthew what to do he was off and running!
I hid Madeline's a little bit harder than Matthew's were.....
but he found the one that was inside the drain spout before she did!
Putting all of his eggs in one basket.....
They should both sleep well tonight after all of this time running outside!
I put my rose plant outside on the deck to enjoy the sunlight. This is the one that my sweet friend Jenny and her parents sent to me while I was in the hospital.
we decided it was so much fun outside that we would eat dinner out there too. I made spaghetti and am glad we did eat out there, it made clean up much easier- they both went straight into the bathtub afterwards!
you can tell by how much is on his face and hands that Matthew liked his dinner!
I have no idea where this came from, but Madeline loves anchors. I haven't noticed any of the other kids at her school wearing anchor stuff. I found the anchor swimsuit below at one of the sales this weekend and she had a fit over it! Aunt Nancy thought her love of all things anchor was so funny I thought I'd put it on the blog. Now she wants a belt with anchors on it but I haven't come across one yet. We've gone from wearing fake pearls every day to anchors!
Whatever Sissy wants to do or play, Matthew is along for the ride. He thinks it's the best if Sissy likes it. Here they are playing with her Polly Pockets. Wonderful. I fully expect to find a Polly Pocket shoe or two in the next diaper change.
Here she got him to play camp out with their school nap mats on the couch. Madeline no longer has nap at school but we kept her mat for home use anyway.
Matthew has discovered bologna and there's no going back. He is in love. He gets so excited when he sees the bologna come out. In these pictures he was eating bologna AND watching Chuggington so it didn't get much better!
Matthew is Mommy's Little Man. He goes everywhere I go, my little shadow. He likes to sit with me up on the couch- as close as he can get- and watch tv or eat a snack. Who knew little boys were so sweet!
here is my Frankenstein stitched neck. Stitches come out on Monday which makes me want to throw up just thinking about. I have to come up with a good story for my scar, it looks like I was held at knifepoint. Maybe I will say I single handedly stopped a car jacking or a bank robbery, something good.
My birthday was last week and Jeff/Madeline made me my favorite, yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Jeff baked and Madeline frosted. And she also served, that's why it was dug out from the middle!
Aunt Nancy's checklists for getting the kids off to school for me while Jeff and I and MaMaw were at the hospital. I think she was a little overwhelmed at first because we weren't prepared for Matthew to be on medicine and Madeline to have an unannounced picture day at school!
But she did a great job....
and we loved her visit! I didn't get a single picture of MaMaw while she was here but Madeline and Matthew had fun having her visit too. Madeline liked coloring in the floor with her- and Matthew introduced her to Chuggington!
